Once every two decades or so, Italy is shaken by the sound of a new Lamborghini flagship supercar, and Italy is currently being shaken to pieces by this, the New Lamborghini Revuelto. Replacing the over 10 year old Lamborghini Aventador it has big shoes to fill. Taking styling queues from the Lamborghini Sian, Centenario and the Hurican STO. The new Revuelto takes the angular styling from Aventador's 11 out of 10, to a 12.

Although it is Lamborghini's plug-in hybrid supercar there has been zero emphasis on economy. Making a whopping 1000bhp from a new 6.5-litre V12 and a trio of electric motors. 0-62mph comes in 2.5 seconds, a sub-7.0sec 0-124mph and a top speed of more than 217mph, all very impressive numbers, but quintessentially it has the styling to keep pedestrians from jaywalking, incase they are cut up by the angular style of the front end. Featuring an all-new eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, 140kW battery pack, light mounted exhaust and upright springs for the twin wishbones at each corner, the new Revuelto aims to fix the rather questionable handling that plagued the early Aventadors.

Overall, I love the new look and the technology featured in the Lamborghini Revuelto and cant wait to see the insane special editions they cook up over the next decade.
